Moreno's Mexican Grill

This place is fabulous!!! My first time here today around 4pm. I found my favorite authentic Mexican food place!!! I had a Chicken Quesadilla with Mango. It was excellent and sooooo tasty! They give you 3 different sauces/dips with the chips too. Food was generous portions. Servers are very kind and attentive, very nice attractive restaurant. I will be going back and bringing visitors and friends.

The food was amazing, the service was great, and the portion size was good (you'll probably have leftovers).

I had the chicken enchiladas combination. It comes with beans and rice. I ordered it to go and was pleasantly surprised that it came in a sealed bag! If you ever ordered from a delivery service and had your order sampled by the driver you will love this feature! Other surprises were strong plastic utensils and a bag of their chips and 4 little containers of their salsa red and green. The enchiladas were delicious as were the beans and rice. I also really enjoyed the salsas and chips. I have never cared for green salsa before but, I loved theirs! It's sweet with some heat. I will definitely be back.

Waitress take too long to come to table to take your order and don't check up on you to see if you need anything. No one at front to greet you, we didn't know if we had to seat ourselves or wait for waitress. (Happened the 2 times I've been there). They see you, they can walk in front of you but won't ask if you've been helped. Food is good. Big serving with decent prices.

Excellent!! The food properly prepared, served quickly, piping hot and delicious. Are server Rosie was very attentive and just the sweetest!! Made me feel at home and part of the family. Fortunately for myself I live in the neighborhood and I live just around the corner and I will be back!!! I highly recommend Moreno's!!

Great food, not the best service. If you're hungry, it's worth the wait. Pro-tip: Don't eat at the bar, you will never be served. I've had to learn this stupid lesson 3 times. When I abandoned the bar and sat down at a table I was served in like 10 minutes.

Moreno’s service was slow with only one waitress and cook, the food was tasty and the place was clean. Nothing blew me away, but the shrimp tacos were good, prices were fair.

Stopped in here while visiting the area because it was highly recommended by locals. It has a BEAUTIFUL outdoor seating area. They start you out with chips and salsa like so many Mexican restaurants but they also give you verde. Those were both good but what really makes this places chips and salsa different is their bean dip! Really good! They bring some out and you can also request a 4oz or 8oz portion to share with the table. I should mention that the chips, they are placed in a tortilla chip warmer (pictured). They come out warm and super fresh! If you’ve ever been to an Uncle Julio’s, they’re just like that. Very very good!! Food here was very good. Some of the asada was maybe a tiny bit on the dry side but not bad. Fairly authentic Mexican flavors! The rice was spot on, just like the wife makes! My Morano Burrito (red sauce) plate was very good and had a decent kick to it. I love spicy food but if you don’t, order with caution. Portion sizes are in the “bring your appetite” category. Very generous! Service was really good. Our waiter was on the ball for sure. He did a really excellent job of being attentive. The only negative was food auctioning… if you have read some of my other reviews, you’ll know this is one of my pet peeves. When someone brings your food out, they should never have to call it out and have their guests claim it. Especially if it’s your own server. They should be able to place the correct food in front of each person with confidence. There are simple methods that can be utilized to achieve this that take very little effort to perfect. All in all, a nice Mexican restaurant. I was glad to have experienced it, would definitely go back.
